NyayaShlok — from nyāya (justice) and śloka (verse) — is an independent academic publisher devoted to peer-reviewed scholarship in law. We exist to give specialised legal research a rigorous, ethical, and lasting home.
We publish scholarship that is methodologically sound, intellectually honest, and genuinely useful to the people who make, apply, and study the law. Each NyayaShlok journal is edited by scholars with deep expertise in its field and is committed to a transparent, double-blind review process.
NyayaShlok is the parent banner for a growing family of specialised journals. Today it comprises two titles, with more to follow:
We welcome original research articles, case comments, legislative and policy analyses, book reviews, and review essays.
Editorial decisions rest solely with each journal’s editorial board and are made on the basis of academic merit, originality, and relevance — never commercial interest. NyayaShlok supports its editors with infrastructure, standards, and ethics policy, and does not influence the acceptance or rejection of any manuscript.
The end-to-end editorial workflow for every NyayaShlok journal — submission, blinded review, revision, and decision — is operated on EditorialManas, a dedicated editorial-management platform. This gives authors real-time tracking, reviewers a structured scoring workspace, and editors a complete, auditable record of each manuscript’s journey.
Licensing and access model to be confirmed (e.g., open access under a Creative Commons licence with authors retaining copyright). This section will state the final policy once set.
We are building our editorial and reviewer community. If you would like to contribute as an author, serve as a peer reviewer, or join an editorial board, please get in touch or register on the editorial portal.
